The table pictured across is the routine created by the JDC. The JDC have 8 week seasons where members compete by taking part in the routine and at the end of each session their scores are added up and sent by the Acadmey Director Keith Brunt to the JDC. These scores are then added to a national league table and members have a chance to win JDC coloured shirts representing their skill level and ability along with the chance to take part in national events and competitions representing the Academy. Cash prizes are usually up for grabs at such tours/events also.
Each shirt colour represents the skill and ability of the player and determines whether a player recieves a handicap in games and competitions. Black and red shirts usually are the shirts to aim for as they represent a higher level of skill. Winning a JDC shirt is a great achievement and players are proud to wear theirs regardless of their colour.
The training routine is challenging to all even adults and professional players like to have a go at it and we will be asking our Ambassadors to have a go sometime soon too. The routine helps a player improve their overall performance hitting those high scores and finishing. The green zone board which can be used in conjunction makes it fair for all levels and abilities.
